Well, that is our aim for 2023, to help you renew your metrological knowledge with a powerful training and webinars plan, designed to match your needs and answer all your questions. At the same time, our participation in Metromeet will give you the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the world of dimensional metrology.
Customised training
Being aware that having the knowledge optimises professional development and the ability to provide greater value, we have designed a programme of courses ranging from the presentation of basic metrological concepts to highly advanced and specialised ones with international certifications.
Our courses are aimed mainly at quality managers, laboratory technicians, metrologists and production managers, and all professionals who are aware that metrology adds value.
The Basic and Advanced Fundamentals of Dimensional Metrology courses provide and reinforce the fundamental and latest knowledge of manufacturing metrology for beginners and advanced measurement technicians. This is done using the most modern teaching methods, covering topics such as dimensioning and technical drawings, programming, equipment and sensor technology, form and position tolerances, interpretation of control plans, monitoring, with the aim of reducing measurement uncertainty and creating reliable and intercomparable results.
The Contact Measurement course teaches the advantages of contact measurement and its main tricks, as well as the strategy to take into account when measuring with a touch probe, analysing dimensional reports and selecting proper techniques for each type of piece.
3D Scanning Virtual Metrology Techniques covers the principles of non-contact measurement, including virtual probing techniques, computational geometry, 3D vision and basic geometric elements, combining a theoretical overview with practical examples, to provide notions for the selection of non-contact scanning technologies and data analysis.
In addition, the Hybrid Measurement course provides knowledge about the advantages and disadvantages of contact and non-contact measurement, as well as the combination of both, by means of theoretical and practical examples and tools for capturing and processing quality data for the analysis of dimensional reports and the selection of suitable techniques for each type of piece.
On the other hand, the training on In Process Measurement Solutions: Machine Tool Measurement addresses the problem of positioning and measurement in machine tools, reviewing various possibilities and dealing in detail with aspects such as part alignment and machine set-up, providing notions for the selection of measurement technologies in machine tools and the basic use of software.
Another interesting training for those who deal with coordinate measuring machines on a daily basis is the CMM Calibration course, which provides participants the notions to correctly calibrate a CMM and thereby ensure the accuracy and reliability of the measurements made with it.
The Control Layouts and Fixturing Systems for CMM course analyses the aspects to consider when designing and validating a control layout, reviewing different positioning and fixturing solutions, in order to have the necessary knowledge to specify and validate control layouts and use fixturing systems.
Get certified by AUKOM
Finally, we have the AUKOM training courses, thanks to which participants will receive a professional certificate, and in which our trainers are certified:
AUKOM Level 1: The course is for beginners and advanced technicians in manufacturing metrology, and covers topics such as dimensioning and technical drawing, programming, device and sensor technology, measurement uncertainty reduction and quality management.
AUKOM Level 2: This course is for advanced manufacturing metrology technicians, and covers topics such as form and position tolerances, interpretation of control plans, programming, monitoring, equipment and sensor technology, measurement uncertainty reduction, documentation, verification of control media, application of statistical parameters, process control and good measurement philosophy.
All these courses will be available for our existing customers as well as for those interested in learning more about the world of metrology and its secrets.
Our webinars and our presence in METROMEET
Additionally, we are preparing a variety of webinars, in which you can learn in detail the functionalities and capabilities of our M3 and M3MH softwares. Webinars focused on optimising point cloud capture, analysis and editing tasks, including support for different types of sensors, work modes, multi-sensors, geometries, workflow, results, and other tools, as well as machine tool measurement with alignment, measurement and verification, and 5-axis measurement for zero-defect manufacturing.
Finally, we would also like to recommend Metromeet 2023, the International Conference on Industrial Dimensional Metrology that will take place in Bilbao on 19-20 April, in which we will participate as sponsors and show our latest developments.
